At Sharon Church we want to teach children about Jesus and to show Jesus' love to others. For more information regarding our children’s ministry, email Allison Turner, and join us on Facebook at SCKids.
Large Group- Sunday10:00am
During the 10:00am service time, children meet in the Warehouse for a large group meeting (when Henry County schools are in session). Each Sunday is different, but includes a mixture of discussion time, worship through music led by our Kid's Worship Team, an age-appropriate Biblical lesson with related videos and scripture, and FUN activities where your child can get to know and spend time with friends.
Small Groups- Sunday 11:30am
Small groups begin in the Warehouse, located on the upper level of the church, beginning at 11:30am (when Henry County schools are in session). After meeting briefly as a whole group, the children are separated by grade level groups: (1st-3rd grades) (4th-5th grades). In their small groups, they dive deeper into today's Biblical lesson discussed in large group, talk, share, build friendships which are led by dedicated, loving teachers.
When Henry County Schools are not in session we do not have SCKids; we have a family service. Your children will join you for worship in the auditorium. Worship bags are provided at the entrances for your child during our family services.
On Wednesday nights, children meet in Room 221 for a large group meeting. During this time, the children practice songs for the Kids Worship Team, play games, meet and visit with friends, participate in a Biblical lesson with scripture and a discussion time.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Where do we go?
Sharon Church Kids meet in the Warehouse, which is located on the upper level of the church. You will use one of the check-in kiosks to sign in your child for large group at 10:00am and/or small groups at 11:30am. Our check-in system also assigns you and your child a matching ID each week so that our drop off and pick up process is secure. Your child will receive a sticker with his/her name that they wear, and you will receive a Guardian Receipt to show when picking your child up. If you'd like, you can pre-register your child with our security check-in system at www.kidcheck.com. You can also download the KidCheck App and use our Express Check In to save some time waiting in line.
What will my child do?
